TAYLOR -- Drivers can expect delays as maintenance work gets underway on the Taylor Bridge Easter Monday.

According to DriveBC, the work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 1st and continue throughout the week until Saturday, April 6th.

Travel over the Taylor Bridge in both directions will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic and be led by pilot car while crews conduct the maintenance between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and into Saturday.

While crews are present, speeds will be reduced to 30km/h with DriveBC warning drviers to expect 20 minute delays for the two kilometre stretch between Big Bam Road and McMahon Drive.
