DAWSON CREEK -- Dawson Creek police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Ben Touchette is wanted for failing to appear for a court date. He's facing a charge of possessing ammunition while prohibited.
Touchette was previously charged with an offence that caused him to be prohibited from possessing ammunition.
Police allege he was found to be possessing ammunition once again, while prohibited from doing so.
He failed to attend court and is now wanted on an endorsed warrant. That means if police find him, he will be arrested. But under the law, police will then be forced to release him with another court date.
