DAWSON CREEK -- A search is being organized this weekend in Dawson Creek in an effort to find three missing people.

The family of Cole Hosack will be conducting another ground search to find the missing 24-year-old after he disappeared from Dawson Creek on New Year’s Eve.

In an appeal to the community, Cole’s mother Julie Hosack is asking for help from volunteers as she leads the search.

It will be based out of the Staybridge Suites located at 1324 Alaska Avenue, beginning at 10:00 am this Saturday and Sunday.

Julie Hosack says maps and refreshments will be provided to volunteers, and donations will be accepted in exchange "Missing: Cole Hosack" car decals in an effort to raise funds for future searches.

Cole was seen wearing dark green pants, a green t-shirt, and black Boston Red Sox hat with a “B” symbol on the cap.

Volunteers are being asked to register at the hotel beginning at 10:00 a.m. that will run until 4:00 p.m.

A search for two missing Dawson Creek women, Daralyn Supernant and Rene Dider, will take place alongside this weekend’s event.

Dawson Creek RCMP say an active investigation is currently underway for all three missing persons.

Anyone with information on this or other missing person cases can contact RCMP at 250-784-3700.
