Chetwynd RCMP are asking for the public’s help after two pieces of machinery were discovered in Moberly Lake.
Mounties were called the west end of the lake on Tuesday afternoon after two tractors found were in the water.
Police then called in North Peace Search and Rescue to make sure no one was trapped inside. It turns out the tractors were empty, but they were also stolen, according to the RCMP.
The police investigation into the theft and mischief continues. Anyone with any information on the case is being asked to contact the Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788-9221.
