TAYLOR -- Drivers can expect delays as deck maintenance work gets underway on the Taylor Bridge Friday.
According to Dawson Road Maintenance, the work is scheduled to begin Friday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm and continue until 3:00 am Saturday, February 24th.
While crews conduct welding repairs to the bridge, oversized loads over 12’6 ft will not have access and will have to wait until scheduled service is completed.
In addition, oversized loads may be asked to show their permit to confirm load size.
Travel over the Taylor Bridge by passenger vehicles will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic and be led by pilot car while the work is being done.
Dawson Road Maintenance apologizes for the short notice and any inconvenience the work may cause.
They say that its stakeholders will be notified.
