FORT ST. JOHN -- Update: The man and two children reported missing on November 15th have been found 'safe and sound,' according to RCMP.
The trio were found by Alberta RCMP.
Initial reports suggested they may be heading to the province after last being seen in Fort St. John.
Mounties thanking the public for their assistance in locating the family.
CJDC-TV reached out to North District Major Crime inquiring whether police are recommending charges in the case, and will provide an update when the information is received.

The Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a father and his two children who were last seen in Fort St. John on Friday.
Mounties received a request on Friday to check on the well-being of a man and his two children.
On Saturday, police issued the appeal to the public saying the family is concerned for their wellbeing.
The man was last known to be working in the Fort St John area. He may be driving a 2023 white Dodge Ram 1500 pick up, with damage to the windows and body.
Mounties say they have reason to believe the man and his two children may be traveling through Alberta or into Southeastern BC.
In this case, a spokesperson for the RCMP told CTV News, the criteria for issuing an Amber alert were not met because Hume has custody of the children, and the case is therefore not being investigated as an abduction.
