ROLLA -- Two people remain in police custody after a motor vehicle accident near Rolla Thursday morning.
Police say a black Jeep Cherokee was t-boned after it attempted a u-turn on the Rolla Highway north of 210 road.
Mounties say there were 3 people inside the Jeep at the time of the accident. Two people fled of foot, while the third person stayed at the scene.
The passenger that stayed was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dawson Creek RCMP searched the area with the help of the K-9 Unit. The 2 suspects were located and arrested.
Mitchell Jess and Jessie Fougere remain in police custody until their next court appearance on Monday. They are both facing a long list of charges.
