TAYLOR B.C. -- There may be reduced water pressure and discolored H20 flowing from taps in Taylor starting next week.

The District of Taylor is scheduled to test fire hydrants July 26 to August 12.

Officials will flush every hydrant to ensure they work properly in the event of an emergency.

If your water becomes discoloured, the district recommends to run an outside tap until its clear which may take five minutes.

Locals are also asked to keep a safe distance from crews flushing hydrants due to the high water pressure.
