DAWSON CREEK, BC -- The Step Up N Ride Society in Dawson Creek is holding their annual Christmas Sale this weekend.
The event will happen at the Step Up N Ride office at 732-115 Avenue – the blue building directly behind Wendy’s. Christmas items will be on sale Friday from 3pm to 7pm, and Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
This is the society’s first sale since 2019.
“Our community is absolutely great, and has donated all their Christmas stuff for two years,” says Brenda Kreutzer, president of Step Up N Ride. “So we have trees, wreaths, Christmas balls, decorations – you name it, we have it.”
All sales will benefit the society, which provides subsidized, accessible transit in Dawson Creek. Kreutzer says Step Up N Ride will be relying on the funds raised in order to continue operating and cover rising costs.
The society has also been selling 50/50 tickets at local businesses, and will be announcing the winner at the sale at 1pm on Saturday.
