CHARLIE LAKE, BC -- The Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club has a new lodge for the upcoming season.
The day lodge in Beatton Provincial Park in Charlie Lake opened over weekend. The building finished construction back in April.
The club hopes to keep the lodge open every Saturday and Sunday over the ski season, which ranges from December to March. However, this will be dependent on the club’s volunteer staffing levels.
The lodge will be open to anyone using the trails in the area, regardless of whether they are a member of the club or not.
The building will also feature rentals of skis and snowshoes, as when as ski pulks for towing children.
