FORT ST. JOHN -- Following extensive conversations with Santa and Mrs. Claus and Northern Health to ensure the safe delivery of the annual Santa Claus Parade, the City of Fort St. John is planning on hosting, what it’s calling ‘a reverse parade.”

The 2021 parade, including the Claus’, will be a drive-thru format, taking place on 111 Street and 87 Avenue.

It will take place on Saturday December 4th from 5pm to 8pm.

Following the parade, you will be able to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the Festival Plaza,  by pre-booking a time with the City Recreation staff.

“Santa and Mrs. Claus are excited to come back to our community, and they look forward to this opportunity. As a Winter City filled with children of all ages, we will celebrate winter and the holiday season, always keeping safety in mind,” said Mayor Lori Ackerman.

All community organizations are encouraged to sign-up and drop off their decorated floats to ensure the success of this event. For more information, visit www.fortstjohn.ca/santa-claus-parade
