FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- Alaska Highway commuters crossing the Taylor Bridge this evening should expect some delays.

Dawson Road Maintenance will be completing bridge repairs starting at 7 p.m.

During repairs to the 61 year old bridge, traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic.

The maintenance is expected to last until 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Drivers planning to use the bridge between those times should be cautious of maintenance workers, flaggers and obey all traffic signs.
