FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- ICBC kicking off their annual 'December counterattack' campaign this weekend.

RCMP setting up road checks across the province looking for impaired drivers.

With many heading to holiday gatherings, December is one of the busiest months for drinking and driving.

Those driving under the influence can see a fine of up to $4,000.

Mounties will begin road check this Saturday, starting around 6 pm.
