FORT ST. JOHN -- RCMP have concluded their investigation into a suspicious occurrence at a Fort St. John convenience store.
On Thursday, June 6, 2024, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a man at the store on 93rd Avenue approached a young girl and allegedly asked her where she lived and if she wanted to go outside to see puppies that were inside his car.
Mounties released a surveillance video image of the suspect and were asking anyone who may have information that could identify the man to contact them.
In a media release today, RCMP say the man turned himself in to the Fort St. John detachment on June 28 and cooperated with the investigation.
There is no word if any charges were laid.
