FORT ST. JOHN -- The Peace River Regional District will be hosting a virtual open house to get feedback on their wildfire preparedness plans.

The region is currently preparing Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans. The open house will describe these plans, wildfire risk in the region, and the region’s role in wildfire preparedness. Residents can also ask questions regarding the process and potential outcomes.

Diamond Head Consulting, an environmental consultant agency, will also be making a presentation and answering questions.
