FORT ST. JOHN -- Northern Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Heritage Manor II assisted living facility officially over.

There were 5 lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak, all of the residents have since recovered.

The outbreak was declared on May 18.th

The outbreak only applied to Heritage Manor II and not any of the other facilities on the property.

Vaccine data from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control showed at the time, a majority of residents living in the facility have received at least one dose of a vaccine.
