FORT ST. JOHN -- A person was taken to hospital by the B.C. Ambulance Service Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision in Charlie Lake.

According to Fort St. John RCMP, they received a call from the ambulance service at 7:45a.m. They say a small vehicle collided with a large Peterbilt water tank truck. It happened near Jackfish Front and Alaska Highway North.

The RCMP, ambulance and Fort St. John Fire Department attended the scene. One person was taken to the Fort St. John Hospital with minor injuries. Mounties did not identify the individual.

The Fort St. John RCMP continue their investigation.
