FORT NELSON -- The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality rescinded the Evacuation Order for areas near the Fort Nelson River wildfire.
The wildfire is still burning out of control at 33,158 hectares in size.
The NRRM said the Order was downgraded due to cooler temperatures and shifting winds which reduced fire activity.
No homes were under the Order but a number of work sites were.
The area is under an Evacuation Alert.
