DAWSON CREEK -- The 2021 graduates of Northern Lights College were sent off with inspiring words and heartfelt goodbyes during their virtual ceremony.

"You don't need to be sitting on a pedestal to do good for this world. You can play a part from anywhere in the world," said one of two valedictorians, Sankalp Chawla.

His general message to fellow gradutes was anyone can do good for the world in different ways.

Plenty of speakers joined in on congratulating the graduates and to hand out awards such as Chief Sharleen, Northern Lights College President Bryn Kulmatycki, and Chair of the Board of Directors, Tyler Holte.

Every part of the convocation was streamed to YouTube for friends and family to follow along to avoid COVID-19 concerns.

There are 125 students in the Northern Lights College class of 2021.
