FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -- Northern Health has announced starting today (January 20, 2022) all regional public health orders are rescinded.

The most drastic change will see all restrictions lifted on private outdoor gatherings for the region.

Back in October, Northern Health created a long list of restrictions, adding to the already exisitng provincial health orders.

The extra restrictions were created due to higher covid-19 cases in the north compared to the rest of the province.

Also repealed with today's announcement, liquor service can now continue past 10 p.m..

Indoor gatherings were limited to 5 people, they are now limited to 10 people or one other household.
