FORT ST. JOHN -- The Fort St. John Hospital COVID-19 outbreak has been declared over.
Northern Health Medical Health Officers confirmed the end of the outbreak on the inpatient unit.
Since the outbreak was declared August 27, a total of four patients and three staff had tested positive for the virus, with an additional patient dying in association with the outbreak.
Northern Health added they will continue to monitor and follow up on any confirmed COVID-19 cases among staff and patients at any Northern Health facility.
