A water main break forced the closure of Northern Lights College in Dawson Creek today.
The break occurred on Thursday on 116th Avenue, impacting the area between 9th and 11th Streets.
The City of Dawson Creek stated that they are working to assess the cause of the break.
The college notified students through social media and signage posted on door across the campus.
“We are working closely with the City of Dawson Creek to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” Northern Lights College said on Facebook.
Despite the disruption, skilled trade exams scheduled for today still went ahead as planned, with staff on hand to assist students entering the building.
