Police in Fort St. John have announced a significant drug and weapons seizure as a result of an investigation that began last summer.
Mounties say they have gone after organized crime in their ongoing investigation into ‘targeted violence.’
Two people have been charged after three separate search warrants were executed. Police seized four firearms and at one location and more then 1.3 kilograms of illicit drugs.
The Serious Crime Unit began the investigation in August 2025 with help from North District RCMP .
Sgt. Ian Rissanen said, “Persons involved in the trade of illicit drugs, illegally trafficked and possessed firearms, and other criminality that follows organized crime, have no place in our community.”
The two individuals arrested were released on conditions with a future court date, while the Crown reviews the matter and police continue their investigation.
