TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. - Residents of Tumbler Ridge will have a chance to enjoy live music, family activities and community spirit while supporting local students at the upcoming Tumbler Ridge Strong Benefit Concert and Fall Fair.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 at the Tumbler Ridge Fairgrounds, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Organizers say the fair will feature a full day of entertainment and activities, including live music, vendors, games, raffles, a 50/50 draw, beer gardens and an outdoor recreation show.
A key attraction will be the concert lineup, headlined by Kyle McKearney, a musician originally from Fort St. John who has gained national recognition for his award-winning songwriting and performances. McKearney is scheduled to take the main stage at 9 p.m.
The main stage lineup also includes performances from Renee Rockarts, Downwater Union, Morgan McGowen, Arcoholics Anonymous, and Linda & Shawn.
Additional performers will take the Beer Garden Stage throughout the day, including Ghosts at Midnight, D-Cline & The Slopes, Mechanical Botanicals and Andrew Shedden.
All proceeds from gate admissions will go directly to the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), helping support local students and school programs.
Admission is $20 for adults, while children 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Organizers say the event is intended not only as a fundraiser but also as a celebration of community resilience, carrying the theme “Tumbler Ridge Strong.”
The benefit concert and fall fair will take place rain or shine, with organizers encouraging residents from across the Peace Region to attend and support the local PAC while enjoying a full day of family-friendly entertainment.
