Tourism Dawson Creek has announced the launch of its new website, which includes many improvements for residents and visitors.
The city said the upgraded platform gives users a dynamic new way to explore Dawson Creek.
New perks have been added to the website, including a stronger regional and global presence, improved community connections, and a more user-friendly design.
The platform allows all residents to submit community events to the Tourism Event Calendar.
A team will review each event and determine whether it is appropriate to add to the hub.
The city says eligible categories include Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Community & Special Events, Food & Drink, and Sports & Outdoor Adventures.
It added that the website will make it easier for travelers to discover Dawson Creek.
“A vibrant and modern platform designed to connect our community, our region, and the world with the iconic Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway,” the city said.
