The disappearance of Denny Pool has remained a mystery for the past 10 years. The 15-year-old was last seen walking across the Kiskatinaw River Bridge on March 12, 2016.
Poole and a friend were walking along the Alaska Highway, heading from Dawson Creek to meet a girl in Fort St. John.
The pair got into an argument and separated when Poole’s friend decided to walk back to Dawson Creek.
In the days following his disappearance, the community came together to search for the missing teen.
After two weeks of searching, Poole’s family said they weren’t looking for a missing person anymore, but instead, they were looking for a body.
Ten years later, Poole is still missing. The RCMP say the investigation into his disappearance remains active and ongoing.
Mounties say investigators continue to follow up on tips and gather evidence. Anyone with information about Poole’s whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
