One man has been arrested after police said shots were fired at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park, in Fort St John.
Just before 1 pm on Tuesday, Fort St John RCMP were notified of shots fired at the mobile home park. Just after officers arrived at the scene, they arrested a male in relation to the incident.
“Currently we have a suspect in custody in what’s believed to be a targeted incident. No injuries have been reported and there is no reason to believe there is any ongoing risk to the public”, said Constable Christiaan Dreyer, Media Relations Officer with the Fort St John RCMP.
A vehicle related to the incident has been seized for forensic analysis, while police say the investigation is ongoing.
