After the heartbreaking news of young girl taking her own life, a walk to honour her memory has been postponed in Hudson’s Hope.
Friends, family and the community panned to come together to remember the 11 year old, who died on January 3rd in Charlie Lake.
The “Walk for Suicide Awareness in honor of Lexi Siemens to Send Thoughts and Love” was scheduled to take place Tuesday Evening.
The walk is scheduled to start at 6pm at Beattie Park in Hudson’s Hope. Organizers say, “bring candles or mini flashlights so we can ‘Light Up the Night for Lexi Lou.’
Organizers say the walk has been postponed indefinitely
due to the weather. They say melting snow and icy conditions could pose a hazard.
