A structure fire Thursday night in Dawson Creek, completely destroyed a building on 6th Street.
All available firefighters in the city were called to the scene at KTS Truck Repair, shortly after 9pm.
Heavy smoke could be seen billowing from building as crews arrived. Firefighters managed to knock down the fire fairly quickly, but they remained at the scene until 3 am, mopping up hot spots.
There were no injuries reported but a cat was saved from the building. An investigation into the cause of the fire is on-going.
