Stretch of hot weather expected for Peace Region starting Monday

Residents across the Peace Region can expect to see heat warnings from Environment Canada pop up, towards the end of the weekend.

The Peace Region is about to get hit with another blast of warm weather, as we head into one of the final weekends, before kids head back-to-school.

On Friday, temperatures will reach into the mid 20’s which is expected to be felt throughout the weekend.

Warmer temperatures are expected from Monday to Thursday, as the thermometre is expected to hover around 30 degrees for the four day period.

Overnight lows next week are expected to remain in double digits. The low in the overnight hours of Tuesday, is expected to be 14 degrees.

Starting next week, Environment Canada is expected to issue heat warnings for the parts of the Peace Region.
