School District 59 has announced the cancellation of some school buses Tuesday morning.
The district said all routes in Chetwynd and Moberly Lake were cancelled due to weather and road conditions. The Willowbrook route in Dawson Creek was also cancelled.
Schools across the district remained open on Tuesday. It is up to parents to make the decision whether to send their kids to school during inclement weather.
Environment Canada said snowfall amounts will vary widely across the region. Some areas may see up to 10 cm of snow whereas other areas may see little.
Parents are being encouraged to stay updated on cancellations by checking the school and district websites.
