Grande Prairie Mounties are looking for witnesses in their investigation into the death of a man in the Mountview area early Wednesday.
People in the area of 96 Street and 112 Avenue were asked to steer clear that day after police were called to reports of shots being fired just after midnight and found a dead man.
RCMP have now called the death a homicide and are looking to speak to anyone who was in Mountview from 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to 12:10 a.m. Wednesday.
They are also looking for the occupants of a vehicle, described as a large truck with a white cab and silver box, who may have witnessed the crime.
