Advanced voting will place on February 12 and 19 at the Pomeroy Sport Centre between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

General voting day is scheduled for February 22, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the following six locations across the electoral area:

  • Prespatou Elementary/Secondary School
  • Buick Creek Community Hall
  • Cecil Lake Recreation Commission Hall
  • Montney Community Hall
  • Wonowon Elementary School
  • Clearview Arena in Goodlow

In a notice, the PRRD says voter registration will take place at the time of voting with ‘no need’ to pre-register.

Those looking to cast a ballot must be resident, property owner, or a First Nation within the electoral area. Two pieces of ID must be presented at the time of voting, with at least one containing a signature. Non-resident property owners will be asked to provide proof of ownership in order to be eligible.

Current Alternative Director Reid Graham will be running against Madeleine Lehmann after the nomination period closed on January 17th.

The position was previously held by Peace River North MLA Jordan Kealy, with the new director to fill the remainder of his term, which extends into 2026.

Voters must be a Canadian citizen of legal voting age and have been a resident of the province for at least six months on the day of voting.
