Residents of Old Fort who remain under evacuation are being asked to renew their Emergency Support Services (ESS) assistance once again.
In a statement, the Peace River Regional District acknowledged the ongoing disruption.
“We recognize that having to renew ESS again is discouraging for residents wanting to return home,” the district said.
Residents can renew their support at the Pomeroy Sport Centre in Fort St. John on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The landslide has cut off road access to the community, and officials continue to monitor conditions while working toward a temporary solution to reconnect Old Fort.
Work to remove water from the slide area is continuing.
According to DriveBC, movement of the slide is currently minimal, but an evacuation order and alert remain in place.
The Ministry of Transportation and Transit says it is still unable to provide an estimate for when a temporary road into the community will be opened.
The landslide is approximately 400 metres wide and has shifted a section of Old Fort Road about 150 metres downslope.
