Northern Health warns of possible measles exposure in Fort St. John

Northern Health is reporting another potential measles exposure in the Peace Region. The health authority said some people who were at the Fort St. John Hospital, may have been exposed to the virus.

If you were at the Prenatal Clinic on June 27th between 10:30am and 1:15 pm, you should monitor for symptoms, according to Northern Health.

So far, 61 measles cases have been reported across the Northern Health region. Currently, there are 6 active cases in Northern BC.

Health officials say that getting immunized is the best way to prevent the highly contagious virus.
