North Peace Regional Airport looks to help end human trafficking and sexual exploitation

The North Peace Regional Airport announced that they are an official ally of #NotInMyCity. The national organization is dedicated to ending human trafficking and sexual exploitation across Canada.

The airport is partnering with #NotInMyCity to spread awareness and educate airport staff and passengers. Airport staff will be provided with resources and training to improve their ability to identify and disrupt human trafficking.

“Airports play a critical role in identifying and preventing human trafficking within our communities. North Peace Regional Airport’s dedication to safety, education and awareness represents a meaningful step towards our shared goal of ending trafficking and exploitation in Canada,” says Paul Brandt, Founder, #NotInMyCity.

The North Peace Regional Airport welcomed 256,949 commercial passengers in 2024.
