RCMP are seeking footage of a pursuit between officers and a man driving a white GMC Sierra in connection to a police shooting that happened in Grande Prairie on Monday.
Mounties said it received a “domestic call” shortly after 1:30 p.m.
Responding officers found a vehicle connected to the situation and attempted to pull it over. The driver fled, initiating the pursuit.
The man was shot during an altercation that occurred after he rolled his truck while fleeing officers. He is expected to survive.
A media release sent out Thursday said the truck struck several vehicles within Grande Prairie city limits during the pursuit.
Anyone who noticed damage to their vehicle that may have happened on Nov. 10 between 1:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. is asked to contact Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
Police are also asking anyone with footage of the truck hitting vehicles to come forward. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
Alberta’s police watchdog is investigating the shooting.
