FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - A woman who had been reported missing in Fort St. John has been located, according to police.
The Fort St. John RCMP said Monday that the 24-year-old woman reported missing on September 23 has been found. Police did not release any further details.
In a brief update, RCMP thanked members of the public for their assistance during the search.
The woman had previously been reported missing after family members had not heard from her for several weeks.
Investigators had said the lack of communication was unusual and concerning, and officers were worried about her safety.
