The Fort St John RCMP is asking the public for help regarding a potential aggravated assault that occurred some time before the morning of October 16, 2025.
That morning the Fort St John RCMP received a report of a male lying injured in a ditch of the 238 Road near the 253 Road in Baldonnel.
Mounties say they found a conscious but incoherent 37-year-old male in the ditch. The male had injuries to the majority of his body, believed to be the result of an assault.
The victim was transported to the Fort St John Hospital where he was intubated for several days.
It is not clear at this point, if the potential assault is part of the on-going drug turf war that is taking place across the Peace Region.
