Sources tell CJDC TV News that a man reported missing just over two years ago, has been found deceased. In April of 2023, the RCMP asked for the public’s help in locating Jordan Nande.
The Fort St. John RCMP took over the investigation into Nande’s disappearance. Mounties said at the time that they believed Nande was travelling to Kamloops. Police said he didn’t contact his family when he arrived.
Jordan’s family last spoke to him about three weeks prior to reporting him as missing, at which time he stated, he was in Kamloops. It’s possible he may have left the area soon after arriving.
Nande was 27 at the time of his disappearance and was wanted on an arrest warrant. Investigators said that they believed he was trying to evade police.
“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment has been and continues to be on the lookout for information related to Jordan’s whereabouts, however those efforts may be further complicated by the fact that he is wanted on an arrest warrant and may be avoiding contact with police, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson in a release in April of 2023.
Nande had ties to Fort St. John and Fort Nelson. So far there’s no word on how Nande may have died or where he was found. Calls to the Kamloops RCMP were not returned.
