GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. - Grande Prairie RCMP are thanking the public for their help in locating a missing two-year-old child.
Police say, “We are happy to report that missing person, Camden Whitehead, has been located safe.”
Police issued a missing person report on Tuesday that said the little boy was last seen in Grande Prairie on September 14. Investigators believed at the time that Camden may have been with his biological mother, Coralee Whitehead.
Mounties said they were looking to speak with the pair. They did not elaborate on why their were looking for Camden or where he was located.
RCMP noted an Amber Alert had not been issued because the criteria for one had not been met.
