FORT ST. JOHN, BC - RCMP in Fort St. John say a missing 50-year-old man has been located, bringing an end to a public appeal that began earlier this month.
Police had issued a release on June 2 asking for help finding the man, who was reported missing on May 19, 2026, after it was discovered he had not been in contact with family since October of last year.
Investigators had raised concerns for his wellbeing, noting he was known to spend time in multiple communities across the province, including Fort St. John, Prince George and North Vancouver.
In an update, RCMP confirmed the man has since been located. They did not provide additional details, but thanked the public and media for their assistance in the case.
Police had previously asked anyone with information to come forward as part of the search.
