The Insurance Corporation of BC is planning to resume road testing in Fort St. John.
“We’ve taken all appropriate measures to ensure the continued safety of ICBC employees and customers as these tests resume,” said ICBC Spokesperson, Tanya Beja.
Starting on Monday March 2nd, road tests will be conducted at the ICBC Claim Centre and no longer offered at the Service BC location in the city.
ICBC said that road tests will be limited in numbers as testing resumes in Fort St. John. In the meantime, road test availability has been expanded in Dawson Creek.
“We thank the community of Fort St. John for their continued patience as we work to resume road testing in the community,” said Beja
At the beginning of December, ICBC cancelled all road tests in Fort St. John due to a criminal harassment investigation.
However, the person at the centre of the investigation, Elite Driving School Owner David Roswell, is now facing reduced charges related to alleged events in 2024.
Roswell faces three counts of causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property.
In January, Roswell told CJDC-TV News he challenged the criminal harassment charges and says he will also be contesting the peace bond.
