After a series of openings and closures this week, the emergency room at Hudson’s Hope Health Centre is back on diversion.
Northern Health says the ER is closed on Friday. According to the health authority’s website, which provides status updates on emergency department closures, Hudson’s Hope’s ER is expected to reopen Monday at 8:30 a.m.
Hudson’s Hope is currently being served by one physician working part-time. The focus has been placed on primary care, which has often forced the emergency room to close.
ER services were unavailable from April 10 to 27 and for 33 of the last 69 days as of Friday.
