With Halloween right around the corner, Horror Fest is returning to Dawson Creek.
The film festival will feature a chilling collection of short, Halloween themed, horror films from local filmmakers.
The festival is being organized by MacWood Film Arts Development Society. Four local filmmakers will be in attendance and will field questions after the screening.
‘You can expect to see plenty of scares, some comedy thrown in and some blood and gore. Viewer discretion is advised. We do have some scarier titles, nothing too intense but nothing for kids,” said Grady MacTavish, Treasurer for MacWood Film Arts Development Society.
The event starts at 7pm on Friday night at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre in Dawson Creek.
Tickets are $10 each and are available online or at the door. However, organizers say they are selling quickly. To buy tickets online head to www.kpacdc.ca/events.
