Police executed a high-risk search warrant in Dawson Creek Tuesday afternoon. Police had the neighbourhood blocked off as the Emergency Response Team (ERT) from Prince George secured a duplex on 116th Avenue.
Investigators had secured the same house on April 16th as part of the Emily Ogden murder investigation. The property was one of four houses secured by Mounties in the early phase of the investigation.
It’s not clear if anyone was at home when the ERT arrived on Tuesday. Police left the scene without making an arrest, but investigators were back at the same residence Wednesday morning.
CJDC TV News has learned that one of the people living at the home, was one of two people questioned by Mounties, just after Ogden’s body was found in Arras.
Ogden’s death is part of the on-going drug war in Dawson Creek that has seen 10 people murdered over the last two years.
Dawson Creek RCMP can’t comment on the case as the investigation is being led by E-Division in Surrey.
