School District 59 has cancelled school buses in the Dawson Creek area on Monday due to weather conditions.
Temperatures warmed up Monday morning across the Peace Region after a cold front this weekend.
Dawson Creek received freezing rain early Monday, resulting in icy driving conditions.
The school district said bus routes in Chetwynd have not been cancelled.
In School District 60, most buses are running on Monday, except for the Charlie Lake route and the Upper Pine route driven by Alana Copeland, which have been cancelled for the day.
Environment Canada has also issued a special weather statement for the Alaska Highway starting just before Wonowon and extending at the Yukon Border, warning roads may also be slippery due to freezing rain.
The weather agency said flurries are possible everyday this week starting Monday night.
