The Fort St John RCMP will be hosting a BBQ Fundraiser to support the individuals and families that have been impacted by the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge.
“The Fort St John RCMP wishes to share that our hearts are with the families affected by the recent Tumbler Ridge school shooting. During times like these, coming together as a community matters more than ever,” police said in a statement.
The BBQ Fundraiser will be held at the Fort St. John Detachment on Saturday, February 14,th from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
All proceeds will go directly toward helping with immediate needs and ongoing support during this incredibly difficult time.
Police say the suggested donation amount is $100.00 (or any amount that is affordable for you).
