FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - The Fort St. John RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating Kevin Danais, who was reported missing on August 21 after family members became concerned for his wellbeing.

Police say family members have not spoken with the 29-year-old in more than a week.

Investigators have received information suggesting he may be in Grande Prairie, Alberta, although family members consider that unusual for him.

Danais is described as an Indigenous male standing five feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair worn in a crew cut.

RCMP say he has several distinctive tattoos, including an image of cemetery gravestones on the inside of his left arm, “DANAIS” printed in capital letters on the outside of his left forearm, and a large cross tattoo on his right forearm.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Danais or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.

Anyone with information can also contact their local police department.
