FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - The Fort St. John RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old boy who has been missing for nearly a week.
Police say David Yates was reported missing on July 8, 2026, but has not been seen since July 6 in the Fort St. John area. RCMP and the teen’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Yates is described as:
- a caucasian male
- 15 years old
- standing approximately five feet nine inches tall (175 cm)
- weighing about 110 pounds (50 kg)
- brown eyes and medium-length brown hair
According to police, he was last seen wearing baggy blue pants, a white T-shirt, light mint-coloured Crocs and carrying a black backpack.
Police have not released any additional details about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance.
